Looking for a new challenge in 2010. Then Breast Cancer Care's BIKE BLENHEIM PALACE Sportive in association with Cycling Weekly is for you. Sportive's in the UK have gained in popularity over the last five years and this is already one of the countries best.
There are two routes (60 and 100 miles) which start from the event village at the heart ofBreast Cancer Care's BIKE BLENHEIM PALACE. The ride then journeys through the beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswold's with the finish back at the event village where participants can meet up with friends and family.
Last year over 1200 cyclists of all different abilities took part in this ride. Over 90% said they would do it again so we expect bigger numbers this year. We are also making improvements after rider feedback last year. There will be an additional feed and rest stop for the 100 mile route and a further drink and snack station for both routes.
You are very well looked after on the course with our route safety and care being provided by Trafeco Sport who have provided route safety for the Tour of Britain, Tour de France (UK Stage) and many of the countries largest Triathlons. Participants can also make use of the feed stations to keep you refreshed, refueled and ready to tackle the rest of the route
This year we have linked up with Breast Cancer Care to offer you the chance to raise money for an amazing cause whilst getting fit. To join the Breast Cancer Care team simply tick the box when prompted during the registration process.
