The Presteigne Festival takes place each August, with six music-filled days spanning the Bank Holiday period. Youth Music’s vision is that life-changing music-making is available to all children and young people. Every year, Youth Music funds around 300 projects nationwide, supporting more than 80,000 children and young people to make music and develop their skills with a strong focus on reaching children and young people most in need. We will be holding an online drop-in event on Thursday 20 October between 12pm and 2pm to answer all your scholarship questions. Check your eligibility, find out more about what to include in your application, discuss your ideas for the support you would like or ask any other questions you may have. Joining instructions will be added to this page at least one week before the event. The scholarships recognise talent, but awards are also judged on commitment, passion and an assessment of who would benefit the most from the support. There are also opportunities for scholars to showcase their talents by presenting or performing their work during the year.
